he can't actually sell the car without the log book as you have no proof he/she owns it :S Also the DVLA specify you must not sell/scrap/export the car whilst the private plate is being taken off. I'd wait IMO.

I was thinking that, seen cars previously with xenons but no washers. I know they're a 'legal' requirement but what exactly do they do besides dribble water over the lens because surely without wipers as well the dirt/dead bugs etc will just remain.

No Chris it wasn't from redline, they take the piss really. Wouldn't allow test drives etc etc so sacked them off. Yes it's standard mate, but for how long...? ;)
