The 5 engine was never a feat of excellence, as barry has said its old, it produced something like 45bhp without turbo (?). ive known 6 ren 5t owners and all their engines went. Two of them werent modified at all, one had a dumpvalve exhaust etc but boost wasnt up.

point is theyre not as reliable as n/a cars. They also need good cooling so youd need a bigger engine bay. Consumers want compact cars which will go on for ever. Anyway, there are still plenty of turbo cars, ie the VAG group, vauxhall, ford, mercedes, subaru, mitsi, etc. Engines have come on...

yeah looks crap, subtle mods suit the later clios. I saw a 172 with a huge spoiler on the back, the guy had ruined it. Also had a massive RENAULT sticker takin up the whole of the back screen..really buggered the car up

it has the same horsepower as ours, dont think as much torque. I dont have any problems disposing of them though ;)

Well thats always a problem with aftermarket exhausts unless theyre really quiet, which defeats the point somewhat.

How far is it lowered? The fact that it only happens when going right (ie leaning on the left ) would point to the left suspension. After fitting big wheels you are supposed to check a number of things..did you fit the wheels yourself? How much clearance is in the arches?

I havent, though i will. I was told the reason its not fitted is because of the noise it makes, but you can get silencers. Also you cant have more performace and better economy at the same time! Its one or the other. Ive heard positive reviews so im getin one, sorry ben !
