Ive heard theyre very good, magnex always are though! If i was in your position id get a custom exhaust though to mix performance with style. Id get a custom carbon fibre exhaust from 888 motorsport, and be a leader! :D

Theres always a mechanic whos been at your renault garage for years who knows everything about anything, i guarantee it! I remember seeing a site which explained renaults engines, i cant remember it though..try typing the name of the engine in to google or something.

Hmm well looking at power to weight ratios of other cars that just doesnt make sense. I know EVO has great drivers at its disposable but im a believer of if it sounds to good to be true, it is to good to be true!

they are the offical renault stats, which i think are closer to what 99% of people can get to what evo etc have. EVO dont mind destroying the cars, i.e sidestepping the clutch. Thats why i was doing the :confused: faces, cos frankly, unless you like replacing clutches youll never get those times...

Also stupid things like if you leave the aircon on effects times. Mk1 is faster acclerating than the mk2, but only by about 1 tenth. Neither do 0-60 in under 7. 6.5 secs for the cup is optimistic, id say 6.7/8

Cams arent illegal, nitrous is. It also isnt good for the life of your engine and gearbox, even with a progressive controller. It maybe cool because of the fast and the furious but spending extra money on cams would be the better choice. Id go for BB tuning.

Thanks for the tip gaz. And in reply to the monk im not trying to look like anything, i just like the badge, so im getting it :confused: One thing i liked about the clios is they look sporty even from the base model so all ill be doing is some tasteful mods, e.g 172 wheels, lowered suspension...
