the only 100% way to know is to get down on bended knee and measure the spacings mate. There is always conflicting advice on this issue as spacings vary between 52mm, 54mm and 58mm depending on what Renault felt like giving you! I know mine is 52mm which is by far the rarest spacing.
if the car is delocked does it not have to have a mechanical way of gaining access (i.e the boot) in case of an accident/emergency? Could be just a bad connection on the battery to either the -ve or +ve.
i've seen the stripes done badly on a mk2 black dynamique :dead: but never on a 172. Personally I wouldn't do it, although I love the racing blue/stripes combo.

lol, as i stated above add the levellers and the washers plus all the associated wiring and controls it could well make a difference to weight. Btw ballasts for the Xenons are fair heavy pieces of equipment for their size.
