have you taken the rear light of and given it a good looking over? as there might be a problem with the lamp or wiring

basically what i want to do is put the ip address of my ubuntu "server" into say firefox and it show me a list of the folders/files i got it to do it before but can't for the life of me remember what i did

what i'm trying to do is setup my ubuntu file server so that i can access the files via my phone so i've got it all setup to share to my pc's but i need to get it to do it via a web browser aswell so i can access it via my phone so what do i need to install on the server?

it does say it will do ide-sata so you'd plug it into your motherboard instead of a hard drive
