Chaps what's the braided line/s you chaps use for the rear beam, I'm on with a rear beam refresh, & the brake pipes are fucked..Is it the AST braided lines you use , I'm not sure on the correct name .

Well that wasn't a quick fix with the welding and sorting the wheel arch out, Then to find the box section for the rear beam was pretty shot, So cut the out , And sorted that , then to find another hole on the rear back leg, Sorted that........Then found a biggish hole in the front box section...

Should be back on all 4's in the next few week , just got a holiday to get out the way , then throw some pound notes at it.

Rot cut out, and a bit of red primer slapped on , Iv'e managed to get on section welding in on sunday afternoon, Then fucked it off coz all mi mates were sat at the pub , plus it was to fecking hot stuck under that wheel arch. I'll do abit more on it this week.

I don't have a phone to take pictues with, i got sick of the mobile about 5/6 yr ago so fucked it off..But i can use my mates phone, I'll get a few tomorrow, but it'll only be showing what i've chopped out and started preppin, It'll take me a good few hours bending and shaping the sheet metal...

Well tank can of pretty easy , bar one snapped stud, the biggest shocker was finding a big rotten hole under the arch above the fuel filler, so all chopped out and ready for welding up, the arch was like tin foil, But the outter rear quarter and around the petrol cap area ,is in good nik....So...

Petrol light is on anyhow, it's only got about a tenners worth in it at the mo..so not heavy . Yep handbrake cables came out today , with calipers Nice one Yarp

Yeah been looking at them today, tbh they don't look to bad to be fair, I'm pretty well chuffed how it's all seems okish under there..Only got one tiny bit of paint bubbling on the drivers side rear arch. I'll check the fuel cap jobby out tomorrow., Brake pipes are goosed so after a beam refresh...

Thanks Rob. just didn't want to f**k anything up pulling high pressure lines of the fuel sender, i'm guessing it's just a unplug jobby . I want to drop the tank so i can underseal you see, and treat up in the arch / behind the fuel flap, which looks abit sketchy.....Cheers again Rob. good man.

I guess it's just crack on then and see what happens, only being one fuel line to unplug..

I throw that up there , then you lot know i ain't talking about a 1.2 or what ever other car.

Hello Chaps, I'm going to try and drop my petrol tank tomorrow, I've got the BG nearly sripped underneath , ie exhaust / heat sheilds off , Also dropped the rear beam today, I'm giving the BG a bit of TLC that it desperately needs, Also i've got bumbers off, plus wings and sill covers, inside...

Hello chaps, I'm on with tarting up the crushed sills on the BG , Got them looking pretty streight again, But just need give them a lick of paint, Going to a paint shop tomorrow , to get some made up into rattle can form, if i can manage to find the correct paint code for the BG 182..Thanks.

Yeah something like those...Iv'e got a few okish brake line bending tools, so should'nt be no biggy shaping them. cheers

Ok so copper lines are fine to use, I'm on with a rear beam refresh soon, so need to do my brake lines also, Mine are corroded to death and look like there gonna give way pretty soon, Anyway big thanks Rob.

Yeah iv'e seen on here plenty have used j&r shafts on there 182 FF..F**King sh1t my knickers then reading that. LOL

The lad at the garage said he's been for a drive in it, So i'm a bit puzzled with the j&r shaft meant to be to short.
