Cheers, I will give that a go. I'm sure it wasn't like this when I put the IK on about 4 months ago, the whistle seems to have got louder over the past 6 weeks I'd say.

When I put my foot down, not even heavily, there is a weird squeling/high pitched noise coming from the engine. It seems to have become a bit louder recently too, I can hear it over the Induction Kit. I had the same sound when I had my Focus, but never got to bottom of it. Could it possibly be...

Just bought a couple more bottles of this stuff, got it at my local Tesco petrol station (Poole, Tower Park) for £5 per bottle. I would imagine other Tesco petrol stations will the same price :)

I would imagine you will get a very nice example for something between £3-3.5k, if you can stretch to a bit more, go for a Trophy for the epic seats. I paid £4500 for mine but it had FSH and only 39k, but that was 2 1/2 years ago now.

The latest one is Dodo Juice. I think the previous one was just a cheaper one from Clean Your Car, which is why I went for Dodo one as I thought it would be better lol. What one do you use?

So not alot different to what I do, just can't understand why it's fallen apart. It's the 2nd wash mitt that has done that now.

Is there any special way to dry and maintain wash mitts? I bought a Dodo Juice one from Ultimate Dubs in March and when I was using it an hour ago it was falling apart on the car, fluff all over it! I normally rinse it out with clean water then just leave it to dry naturally.

I love it and the whole VAG 'scene', but I agree with people when they say why use a R32 or S3 as a base car.

Make sure they are doing to belts properly, ie right tools and aux belt

Does it have a grub screws to hold it in place? Also, how did you get your old one off?

It was Peter Dumbreck that flipped on the straight during the race. I think Webber flipped in practice and at another track in the USA earlier in the season.

I have just finished my first bottle of this stuff and it is brilliant, even if it does smell abit wierd. Got to hope one of the supermarkets has got some more now!

Was looking on eBay at the gear knob inserts for the 1*2's and came across this gear knob. Has anyone tried it? I also can't see how to it attach's, screws on...

Cleaned it inside and out, took the boot carpet out and was surprised at the amount of crap under there - along with a 50p piece :). Hopefully order a 3/4 plate later this evening too
