The Recaro seats are available to order from next month on the 182 Cup and 182. The seats are the Sport Trendline in Black and dont have lateral airbags. Unlike the standard seats, they also dont have height adjustment though the big advantage is that they result in a 10mm lower driving...
There are 2 companies that make the upholstery for Clio - dont know which one does the Renaultsport. Try Trèves in Paris or Michel Thierry S.A. in Laroque dOlmes.
What amazes me is that they advertise in most editions of Evo and Autocar - at some cost. They must be getting business from it or theyd stop doing Clio and move on to something else.
ABS has to be on new cars over a certain volume (i.e. exempts people like TVR, Caterham).
The idea behind the Cup was principally a handling improvement and less equipment. Unlike say Porsche (!), we cant charge the same or more for this but charge less. Thats the Cup version. However, lots...

Prices go up for all Clio on 5 Jan except the new special editions - Rush and Extreme 4 - and the Renaultsport 182 Cup, 182 and V6. Have you lost your bet ?
Unlike some manufacturers, we dont have cars unsold in stock as cars are built to order. Yes it means a wait and yes it means that the delivery date may change slightly, but its better than having a car sat at a dockside for 6 months.
If you ordered a 182 today it would arrive with the...
Surely were not all confused about what a Cup is ? The UK is the country that sells the cars, no other in any real numbers. The Cup version was always planned from the start as a cheaper version of the 182 for those customers who end up taking the seats out of their cars. Other countries have...
Yes. There are sacred things in Renault. A Cup is a different suspension setting, hence the use of the name for the optional suspension and the version. There wont be a non-Renaultsport car with a different suspension setting, hence Cup will only be used for Renaultsport cars
