182 Waiting List

Is there a long wait on the 182??

A mate of a mate had just ordered one, and has to wait till March to get it, seems a long time to me.

I think he has been spun a lot of bull from the Reanult "sales" team, in terms of how the cars are produced / why there is a wait.

Probably the dealer adding a bit of spin to it, so it gets an 05 reg.

Unlike some manufacturers, we dont have cars unsold in stock as cars are built to order. Yes it means a wait and yes it means that the delivery date may change slightly, but its better than having a car sat at a dockside for 6 months.

If you ordered a 182 today it would arrive with the Dealer end of February, a V6 early March. The Dealer can track the whereabouts of the order all along the way.

3 month wait seems to be the norm

Thats due to the factory shutting down for august.

3 months is about right.

I ordered two Clios in early January before and both came early/mid March.

think i waited nearly 12 weeks for the V, felt like a lifetime.

From the day I paid my deposit, my wait will be 3 weeks in total...

...but thats because I ordered whats available on the system, and didnt set out to buy one in a specific colour/spec.
