if im right (i could easily be wrong) on the clio the diff pin is held in by a clip kinda piece, what happened with mine was the bit that held the clip in broke so the diff pin span but didn't transfer the power the the shafts. If the golf box is similar, maybe the clip has come off or...
Agree silver, i did my old silver clio calipers in silver and it looked subtle, just tidied it up, shall be doing my current black clio calipers silver as well
any legal issues with the plate, ie are they legal, being non-reflexive etc?
Just looked into it, and the pressed plates are legal in themselves, the only illegal thing about them is that they dont have the makers ID at the bottom. (ie: dubmeister.com)
I use Megs APC, havn't really tried other's, but megs apc has done everything i have thrown at it so far, including 2 full interior wet vac's last week, which were a state!

Really should look into the farmer responsible for the mud as it is illegal to put that mud over the road, and not put a warning sign up. Iv had a mate who did similar, not as bad, and the farmer was found liable for the accident
The reason you arn't getting much soap from the AG one is because it is a low foaming shampoo, but contains a large amount of lubricants. Also people tent to put too much product in, use the amount it says and i bet you might change your mind.
But if you want suds, how about Chemical Guys Maxi...

Do a skid pan day, i did last year, as well as being very enjoyable and fun throwing a an audi around, i learnt alot, which i was recommended to practise! which i shall do later! in big supermarket car parks they recommend!haha
