Hard to tell because i did the work myself and paid trade for parts, but i would guess if the cambelt was being done anyway then having the water pump done might add on £40-£50 to the bill, but it is well recommended. (My price guess could be well out)
Possibly worth doing water pump as well at the same time, especially if it's been sat for a while. I did my cambelt and water pump last weekend, not a massive job on the 1.2 16v's.
Sweet! Yeah, might drag him along, might be my last meet in the clio, it will be going soon probably! It will look good for fcs when i get home and spent some time sorting the scratchs, chips and giving it a good pc as well. What you think of my mini, not that there much to see at the moment!

My girlfriends MK2 ph1 1.4 clio has developed a fault with the rev gauge. Every now and again it stops working and simply sits at 0rpm, and then will randomly start working again. When it isn't working the millage doesn't increase.
Any ideas as to what the problem is?
