I agree that's what I like about the one I just bought... It has surprised me how well they go, how comfortable they are and also the mpg is bloody fantastic lol (coming from owning recently an M3 and R32)
But you get all this and with not losing the feel of a hot hatch and it's easy to live...
Re: Picked up a 172 from a memebr here !!!
tbh in the flesh the tints are not that dark i think the lighting and the iphones camera makes them darker...
cheers for the comments guys
should be putting my own stamp on it in the next few weeks :)
Yesterday Picked up a mk2 ph2 172 from millen that he had for sale in the classifieds !!!
looked over it at work last night gave it fresh oil etc... and a good clean also a few pictures ;)
Enjoy !!!
Very true garman then again I have never had a track equipped car in for testing so never really had a second thought about it....
Thanks for you input matey as it has woke me up abit lol
When did you have your seminar
if air bag was fitted as standard under the new rules it will fail...
anyone wants a look at the testers manual here is a link it also includes the new stuff ;)
http://www.motinfo.gov.uk/htdocs/tgi00000001.htm
The new regulations had not come into force as of yet hence why it passed... They have given 3 months grace so start seeing failures in April.... The new items to check and fail are not even on the mot system they are waiting to get everyone who is a tester on to a seminar to make sure everyone...
I bet there are lol
Well should find out for myself soon enough :) hope to get some time this week or weekend to view a few 172
Always had a soft spot for the ph2 Clio :)
Ha ha ha your basing my car history on me owning a mk4 golf R32
Ok fair enough the clio is light but by my rule of thump i don't skimp on brakes and tyres... If I wanted to throw that sort of money to get the same spec I would spend good money on decent brakes but thats me....
Ha ha ha this...
Thats not here or there I'm telling you now that thing will need better brakes and the stock box will end up eat its self if driven remotely hard... Might be ok for short little blast here or there but give the thing a good drive on a track you will find out how dangerous and poor stock size...
