I havent read through all 10 pages, but, I am looking at changing my seats in the 182 for some fixed Bimarco Bucket Seats. Will these cause an MOT failure at all?
Personally I would just cut your loses with your current 182. If you love the 182 that much get another one rather than spending the extra money on a 200.

I have found that pretty much everyone in Halfords are morons and haven't got a clue what they are doing or talking about. The only thing i ever go in there for now is air fresheners.
Im not one bit suprised by what you've said. Sorry to hear of the problems you are having though mate.
Got mine as I HAD to get rid of my 407SW, was an amazingly lovely car to own, but had a trip to a garage every month for something or other. Only had it 8 months and then saw the 182 I've got now on a forecourt and had to buy it :).
Been the best car I've owned so far, reasonably cheap to run...
I thought this too. I was going to get a 197 but when I test drove it, it didn't feel quite good enough. The 182 feels, to me, a much more fun car to drive. I would imagine that the Mk3's are a nicer place to be though on a daily basis.
Mine had full Renault service history when I bought it last year but when I phoned them up to check if the recall had been done or not, it hadn't. So there probably still some Clio's going round with the dodgy catch..
After wondering whether to buy new wheels or not, I have decided to keep my standard 182 (silver) wheels, but get them refurbed. Can anyone give me the paint code for them?
I'm just fancying going for a different look tbh. I did think of getting my 182 wheel refurbed as a couple of them could do with one. Plus with it being a 182 it is always handy to have a spare!
Thinking of getting a set of PH2 172 wheels for my 182, did want some black ones, but been offered a set of silver ones cheap. What are people's opinions, leave the 182 wheels or go for a change?
Will these be the correct fitment etc for a 182?

Is the tire size they give going to give me the same overall tire diameter as the standard 16" wheels with tires? Also will they need spacers...
