This. IMO its silly spending too much money on a car of its age. You're never going to get back what you put into it anyway. Better off saving and waiting for a 1*2 or whatever takes your fancy at the time.

I get about 280miles out of a tank in my 182, but driving is mainly round town and short'ish trips, about 28-30mpg. On a run I get around 42mpg and have even had 47.2 mpg once!

Surely by the time you've spent all the money on doing everything you say you are going to do to this, you could of brought a 1*2...?
