Saw the 172 Ph1 this morning on the way to work, looked really clean and saw a black 182 on the Nuffield Estate around 1:30, again looked lovely and sounded pretty nice as well..

Going to be servicing my 182 soon for the first time soon.
Going to get the Elf Oil Change kit w/Filter and Sump Washer along with some NGK Spark Plugs. I've already got a K-Tec Air Filter on the car.
My question is, are there any special tools that i'll require to carry out the task of...
This. If I had realised this before I probably wouldn't of got mine and kept my Peugeot 407SW. It was only 2 insurance groups lower than the 182 and it was about £550 a year cheaper to insure. I'm only just 21 a few months ago
People like you are the reason insurance prices are so high. So grow...
I haven't done anything to the 182 for a while and with better weather hopefully only a few months away I want to change something. I've been looking at getting the Whiteline Rear ARB and my question is, is it worth getting? I doubt the car will be tracked, not in the near future anyway, so...
Looking at getting a cheap car from my girlfriend and we've found a Renault Clio 1.2 RL Paris (Mk.1), does anyone know if it has power steering?
Going to look at it towards the end of the week, is there anything to look out for on Mk.1 Clio's? It's a 1997 (P) and on 80k..
Cheers,
Liam
True :)
I am happy with it, but I do miss the 407 I before tbh. It was a barge and not the kind of car you'd associated with someone my age (21), I actually brought the Pug when I was still 19!
Cheers :). It gets a good clean at least once a fortnight, if not every week! Have always taken care of my cars in the 4 and abit years i've been driving.
It was up for £4800 and I swapped it for the 407, which tbh, was worth more. I could of got more privately for the 407 and found a 182 for...
Been on here since April when I traded in my 2006 Peugeot 407SW HDI for this 2004 Clio 182. Think I paid over the top for it abit, but it did have a very good service history and only sat on 39k miles. It already had Eibach Sportlines fitted and since then i've had a K-Tec Exhaust fitted and...
This. IMO its silly spending too much money on a car of its age. You're never going to get back what you put into it anyway. Better off saving and waiting for a 1*2 or whatever takes your fancy at the time.
I get about 280miles out of a tank in my 182, but driving is mainly round town and short'ish trips, about 28-30mpg. On a run I get around 42mpg and have even had 47.2 mpg once!
I mean get the all the documents sorted for the new car to be on the private plate, not pysically putting the plate on lol.
I may do it then if its that easy to do in the first place. There shouldnt be any change in insurance cost?
Liam
Hi all,
Ive found the perfect private reg for myself on the dvla website. My question is how easy will it be to change to a new car when i want to change my car? Will any garage change it for you or do you have to do it yourself?
As there are people who have done this, how easy is it to do...
I've had mine about 9 months now. I've had to buy a new exhaust and have the belts done, but this is knew when i brought the car. Other than that all i've had gone is the windscreen washer pump and a headlight jet, these 2 were fixed for about £30-40.
It's the best car i've owned, you wont...
