Yeah mate tbh when i went from my vts to the cup it doesnt seem much faster really, just the noticable different in torque with it being a 2.0.
Doesnt sound like a standard gear linkage lol...maybe it has a griffiths engineering quikshift fitted?
Haha i might invest in some of those beauties phil ;)
On a serious note i may look to buy a second hand momo wheel or something for daily driving then put the Sabelt on for 'special occasions' lol
I see where everybody is coming from and i know its never going to look mint forever.
I wash my hands so that i dont leave any dirty marks on it...not soo much to stop it going flat and shiny.
I may end up buying another one for show use i love it that much lol.
Hahah exactly the same as me dude!
Thanks for the help guys i will try and find a brush for it, and i also own the AG interior shampoo so can give that a go.
Ahh good thinking cheers mate.
Every time i drive the car i wash my hands and dry them so they are clean...abit gay i know but i dont want to wreck the wheel!
Right guys i bought/fitted a Renault sport Sabelt wheel over christmas.
Firstly im wondering where can i get a suede brush from, to keep on top of cleaning it/bringing the material up furry like new? I just dont want it to go flat and shiny thats all and i have heard of people brushing them...
Like i said on saxp dude it looks like a nice example (which is becoming rarer all the time) and i even miss my bro's T.
Look forward to seeing it in the flesh.
Enjoy it dude!...and let me know if you want that number for the belts ;)
Good stuff dude, Will in the past i have found that decat's free up the rev's alittle more and give you a bit more poke top end of the rev range but the low & mid range torque is greater with the cat on making day to day driving better.
Ive never once needed ABS in all of the years i have been driving (and my cup isnt the first car not to have it), you would be in a very very unlucky position to need it whilst going about your everyday driving (that is if you drive to the speed limits) imo
Sportlines everyday of the week...i am also lead to believe that in the case of the clio fitment between the pro's and the sportlines...the sportlines are actually a stiffer spring rate iirc ;)
