mine was fitted by rs tuning and they said they've seen shocking installs and if not done properly then you will lose bhp. Hence why i had mine fitted as i am shocking at anything manually lol.

It's hard to explain but it's poking out of the guard at the bottom slightly angled. I wanted it straight rather than bending into the grill.

Ye definetly perfect noise imo. It's not any lower than say if it was coming out of the grill. As long as you don't over rev the car while going over floods should be fine. If i remember the bmc itself cost around £155

I aint lost any performance if anything feels more responsive

Ye only wiggles at the top then goes straight down. Only way.

here is mine with standard bend. You just need to angle it and it will fit as shown on mine.
