Ye, there isn't enough room infront of the BMC where you connect the CAF. I don't get it as people manage on here. I am shocking when it comes to doing anything on my car though.
Can the BMC kit just be connected with no cold air feed?
Met up with Russ last night to collect the BMC kit. He managed to get me the same set up as his which will make life a lot easier as the standard caf with the BMC is shocking. Top man!!

my battery was perfectly fine always started perfect until one morning it wouldn't start. even jump starting wouldnt start the battery which made think it was something more serious. Got it towed to garage and they fitted a new batterry and it was fine.
I have powerflow on my 172 and sounds perfect. Chose the tailpipe i wanted and sound. Life time wartranty aswell.
Don't know why people automatically think they shite, when i have never heard bad things nor had any *touch wood*
just got my car back and they were worn down to 1.5mm so had the pads and disks replaced as they were worn aswell. And that's it!!
The worn disks were the only advisory thing i got which i had done anyway.
Sorted for another year :D
Cars in its MOT and only failed on rear brake pads and front windscreen wipers (how do they fail an MOT?? They work fine lol )
Just hit 40k miles aswell so quite pleased.
There is this guy round my way who drives a new clio but it's not the 197. It's either a 1.4 or 1.6 but apparently its standard. However seeing it the other day it's all color coded and it seems to have a kind of kit on it. Very subtle and looks mint but never seen it before in real or on here...
