I'm finding it hard on deciding on what colour scheme to use in my silver 172 engine bay. what have people been doing. Pics welcomed

It a mixture of anti freeze anti corrossion and water. For a week i had to fill it up every 2 days!!! My radiator was leaking . luckily it wasn't my head gasket!

so unless your trying to make your engine bay look better its a waste of money.

kind of. I want a nice noise, something that looks good and doesn't lose power. I thought that maybe hill power/ CDA BMC / santo will do this. Just unsure which to go for really. I was thinking around 250 quid

i used to have exaclty this!! Did my head in and took a while to figure it out but it was something to do with the cv joint not being attached properly. Local garage reattached it and greased it (or whatever they do) and it totally gone. No creaking.

defo get H&R's and get them properly setup if you got a grand

eibach springs around 130 quid. H&R collies 730 quid.

Am i being stupid or is this hose hard to attach? I can't seem to get the hose round the metal bit as at the moment it lose? Circled it on the picture (not my car btw). I'm guessing this being loose gives me the induction noise.

I just found out what it is. The main tube that connects the air filter to the engine isnt connected properly which is why it making an induction noise. I take it's bad to leave it as it is ye?? I just like the sound lol

is it a bad thing if they left the hose off or isn't tight enough? They didn't have anything left. I quite like the sound though lol. the part cost 100 quid rest was labour and 50 quid was VAT!

mine used to rub badly with 2 people in the back. had arches done and now can have 3 people in back and no rubbing. unless go over speed bumps but 3 people usually lower 60mm
