Sponges are SO 1980's IMO. The mitts are better at preventing swirls. Sponges just carry the s**t on the surface.

Clay is .... well clay. You use a lubricant such as Quik detailer or watered down car shampoo in a spray bottle. You rub it over the paint work and it picks up all the s**t. Then u just fold it in to a nice piece. Leaves paint feeling glass like smooth ready for application of wax/polish.

Harder you drive it the faster it will get. IMO Renault woud've done all sorts of tests pushing it. Should be able to take a hammering but obviously bits will wear faster and need replacing quicker.

I dont think Cup's actually USE the rear discs lol. They all fail on the brakes come MOT time for this reason even though they are made like it! Someone more technical will answer but in the meantime search "Cup MOT" Moved to Technical.
