    Checking Cruise control signals

I wouldn’t mind getting cruise control working again, I think I damaged the ribbon wire when fitting a spacer to the boss a few years ago and it stopped working. Is there anyway of checking signals on the plug to make sure that is the issue before buying a new squib

Nice to meet you both yesterday, your car looks and goes good. I could'nt keep up with you I did try 😂 I have been on 2 Javelin days at Donington and both been badly run I think if it was a MSV day most would have been black flagged , half the time it felt like I was in a race. Anyway the...

    Air Tools

Depending on what compressor you have it will struggle to run a impact gun properly, I have a 50l tank and get a few seconds of full power then the compressor kicks in again. I just got some tools from Lidl impact, ratchet, drill and they are fine for home use.

    Steering Wheels (Snappy Ones)

Snappy's work does look really good but I had a royal wheel done in my RS alcantara and leather and could not fault it for under £150, the main draw was the exchange wheel if Snappy had that option I would have used him as the car could not be off the road while it was being done but he...

Clio 182 track day car project - advice please!

If your going to be driving it to tracks don’t go mad with stripping it, I have left the front carpet in and headliner and it makes it a nicer place to be. I used Gaz golds I’ve been pleased with them but run cooksport springs and new shocks for about 3 years and it handled really well. Seats...

    Roof lining

Yes take it out the boot, my car was stripped so made it a bit easier but fold the seats down and it should come out easy

    Roof lining

I left the old stuff on but there was nothing wrong it it, it’s been on for about 5 years now
  29. M.C..

    Roof lining

Not at all, once you have removed it and it’s on the floor the alcantara just just formed to the shape no stretching needed.

    Roof lining

Do it yourself it's not that difficult, and if it is sagging noting to lose by trying anyway. I retrimmed mine in faux alcantara cost about £25 - £30 a couple of cans of spray adhesive and the material.
