I've read as much as possable about changing rear shocks/dampers.
Nowhere does it mention torque settings for the nuts.
Alot of peaple say just tighten them up, but why do
torque settings exist for the rear shocks/dampers
if its not important!
Could someone please tell me what the deal is!
Whenever im on bumpy roads in my 172FF
the back feels like its skipping/Bouncing around,
If im on a bend or the road has an adverse camber and I hit a bump,
it jumps to one side.
My m8s 182cup doesnt do it at all and thats lighter,
we have concluded that my rear shocks/dampers are on
the way...
Does anyone know if there any good?
I asked for a quote on a cambelt change and
diognostic check (T/C fault code) last week, ive rang up about 4 times
and still no call back, if there this bad at ringing you back
what they gonna be like with my car.

Ive just realised that when I lock the car
the boot stays unlocked!
When you open it the alarm goes off,
but this is no good if i'm not near the car.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Ive just been to car electronics in Nottingham
and the guy in there told me that no head unit is
compatible with my renault alpine multichanger,
except for the standard one.
Is he correct?
Im sure the previous owner had a different one
in because the key holes are a bit worn.
What is the deal with the standard head unit?!
It just says code and wont do anything.
Ive got the code off Renault, but I cant enter it.
I pulled the fuse out hoping it would reset it back to default mode
and let me enter the code, no such luck!

Ive had my 172 FF for a week now, got use to it now sort of.
Still not use to the ferocious power, im not so much driving it as holding on for dear life!
When its started from cold it sounds like a bag of spanners,
aftrer about two minutes it settles down, then after its warmed up
its better...
