Smashed two of my camera lenses the other day. No problemo, I have Applecare+ through my insurance.
Made an appointment, strolled in, 'Ah yes, that'll be £400 sir'
'No it won't, I have Applecare'
Nope. Says expired on my phone. Phoned Vodafone's insurance department 'oh yeah we didn't send...
You need 1000 subscribers and 7000 hours of watch time in the last 12 months to be eligible for monetisation now. Not the easiest to do from scratch I think
Secretlab are apparently very different from the usual gaming chairs. Can’t say that for certain.
The bucket seat in an R-seat RS1 is very comfortable ;)
@SharkyUK Glad you've upgraded your sim rig because you can now properly experience the full awesomeness of a Volvo C30.
I've updated the one I've been working on so I thought I'd whack a link here in case someone felt mental. Massive amount of effort gone in to try and make it as realistic as...
The bar is self centering so best to use for rudder.
I tend to leave roll trim well alone, so pitch trim is easily just stuck on the two buttons on the back of the throttle.
I had one for a while, or I presume an earlier version of it as it was a while ago, it’s alright. You have a rudder bar on the back of the throttle which is quite nice to use compared to the usual twist stick for rudder (which it can do too)
Should have plenty of buttons for a Cessna
Think the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One works with the Series X. It’s not the most advanced stick in the world but being a HOTAS (Hand On Throttle And Stick) you can control most of the important functions of the aircraft without having to release the controls.
I’ll admit I rarely have time...
It’s very theraputic. It kills time in a very relaxing way. Euro Truck Simulator 2 is the same, stick the radio on, drive to somewhere, stick a few youtube videos on your phone, have a bevvy, relax (crash) and kill some time.
Plus you get a sense of achievement when you learn something new...
But unfortunately in the case of checking your mirror it doesn’t matter.
When my first car got written off, I was trying to cross two standstill lanes of traffic and a bus lane. I stopped in the middle of the road after the traffic let me out and looked as far up the bus lane as possible -...
Leaving your lane doesn’t just mean changing lanes like on a motorway. You chose to deviate from the ‘normal’ route of continuing along the road, and entered a different one (the oncoming lane you are crossing). When doing so, you have to check the lane you are moving into is clear. That’s what...
Generally insurers take the viewpoint that if you choose to deviate out of your lane, you’re responsible for making sure the one you’re moving into is clear.
Actually awesome. 4k120, OLED with great HDR, very low input latency, 55 inches, £900
Oh and it’s a TV for watching films in great quality and s**t. I know it’s massive but honestly do not underestimate the experience of gaming on a big TV
EDIT: I swear that 32 inch bit wasn't there when I...
So a couple things.
The gun was actually pulling from the bottle at about 7.5 to 1, so I’d mixed it at 22.5:1 when I applied it. Which would explain why the beading was maybe not quite so wild as expected.
Secondly it just all wiped off after a rinse with the PW. Only did a half arsed wash to...
One of my racing buddies is selling his pet project. I think he took one look at the blue book and realised he wasn't getting to enter it lol
Ford Small block, genuine Eurocar chassis. It sounds pretty much exactly as you'd expect. It's glorious, thought CS might appreciate...
Lol yep

Work with the windows down, and reduces the wind flutter too.
