agreed, the silver on blue works so well tbh. I hate F1's for their egginess under the slightest bump.....but they suit the car so so well.
Williams have been reallocated back to GTT now anyway....
Been playing cambelt roulette for a while now too so she's booked in to see @MicKPM for a sort out next week. As such left her unused last week or two and been exclusively in the RB.... so to show disdain for the situation the stroppy bugger spat her front plate off.... neighbor's knocked on and...
Back on original wheels again now and exacted a superb front nearside bumper mounting point repair using a bit of metal and couple of bolts. It'll do until I get the spare wings not missing the mounting part painted and fitted.
After following your project and seeing perhaps direction you're going etc, have you considered converting to epas? Think your build would be ideal candidate for it really, clean the engine bay out and provide on road comforts still
as above, just give it a normal oil and filter service and send it
no such thing as a 'cheap' dephaser although they're not exactly mega money new. but pointless fitting a used one, use the right bits and new Renault for all the cambelt stuff as its critical to these engines to keep them...
missing half the point to, for me owning a cup car would be half about the racing pedigree, what races it was in, who drove it, if it won etc. Old pics of it smashing round the tracks in a pack of other clio cup cars. few scars etc.
that's just an expensive replica
looks great, nothing wrong with stock, keep thinking about putting mine back to stock......then re modding it all over again for about the third cycle! lol!
5 years or 72k for cambelt, dephaser is a lifetime part so provided car is properly serviced shouldn't ever need to be done.....in theory.
however I have mine coming up for second change in my ownership, oil/filter serviced every 6k miles, and still think i'll just change it again anyway for...
MOT achieved, 213837 miles
Needs a brake pipe and cat as current one about to drop off at flanges but a pass it is
Here's to the dash to moon mileage over the next 12 months
ET30 is essentially like running a 13mm spacer on all 4 corners, I would expect perhaps maybe some rear scrub but fronts to be fine. all depending on how low you take it, 'moving to coilovers' means nothing as you can run coilovers at stock height, higher or much much lower so all depends
lol thought I had put that, must of been raging too much. don't mind mods but wish people wouldn't advertise misleadingly. either means they know so little about the car they don't' care or they're lying. neither route is good when asking top dollar
TOTALLY STANDARD......bar rear lights and battery cover and wrong coolant cap and wrong side repeaters and aerial and awful steering wheel recover........
:p🤣
