Same happened to myself a few years ago and to my girlfriend this year. I told them it's ridiculous and the guy basically said what you've quoted and it's based on stats etc. I think he might gave knocked the difference off though.
Now I remember why my Wii is connected directly to the TV. Not all amps will output all video signals via all inputs to the TV via HDMI. IIRC, that's called upconverting or something like that. To connect mine, I would have to connect the Wii to the amp via component/yellow video phono and then...
Good effort Dave! I like the look of the Parrot, think I might have to get myself one.
What's the switch between drivers window and rear window switch? Is that the one to kill the window switches in the back?
Check if there are already spigot rings in them. If so then you can swap with Clio size spigots.
Tyre sizes are right for 15s on Clios, just check the wheel offset is ok.
Another one! I was going to say you're turning into Dave but he beat me to it!
Looking good! Must be a nice change from the French ones. I have a feeling K04 turbo is a lot of work to fit, K03s is pretty simple IIRC from when I looking into it on Golfs.
Maybe brand new pads? They would need time to get up to standard. My standard pads have been fine.
I had DS2500s, more than you'll need for road driving IMO. And I wouldn't hesitate to put them on any other car as I loved having that stopping ability either when driving fast or in case of an...
IMO, if you really want one and can afford it, get it. If you're questioning costs, mpg etc, don't get it.
I ran mine as a student, I knew rough running costs and was working part time so knew I'd be ok. Had a bit saved on the side if anything went bang. I wanted an older M3 now but I started...
If you own car, put yourself as the main driver and policy holder. Probably be the same cost and you'll (hopefully) get a no claims bonus next year.
Malachi4's got the most of it covered there.
Ollie, Sky were not far off your quote for me last year but I was 23, 5yrs protected NCB and about 10k miles with all mods declared.
Flux good in the past on the 172. Brentacre gave competitive prices as well.
A few people have run et35 I think. Phase 1 OZ F1s are et43, Ph2 5 spokes are et48.5 IIRC and 172 Cup Turinis are et37 or et38. I doubt you'd notice any rubbing on et35 unless you're running really low, like -60/70mm or more.
The rest is fine.
RS engines never make quoted power. And 197 refers to PS not bhp. And them quoting 21bhp increase from a remap on an NA 2.0 is ridiculous in itself.
Meant to at say at best!
Bit optimistic in reality tbh.
The car will be around 190bhp so a remap will be lucky to bring it to an actual 197 let alone 210+ if mk3s are anything like mk2s.
40-50mm will be fine, you may need to bend/cut the bumper bracket in the front arches tho to avoid scrubbing. Easily done, have a search plenty on here about it.
Wheels are up to you. As said 16" standard and tyre sizes above.
