hi guys, at the moment iv got 17inc o.z alloys on my car witch was on ther when i got it but i wont to go back to standed size, could any body tell me the standed size on the cups, also im looking to lower the car as well but dont wont to be draging on speed hump all the time. so also how low would i be able to go on standed wheels with out leaving the car looking like a 4x4 i wont as less gap in the archs as poss.

o.k so ther 16", also wot the best tyer size to stick on dont for get im going to be lowering it after not to much just a nuff to close the gap in the arch .

dont wont to have to near a nuff stop ever time i come to a speed hump like i had to do in my punto...lol.

Depends wot size ud prefer. Either 195/45/16 or 205/45/16 would suit.

right iv sold the 17" o.z wheels i had on my car lastnight and im now looking for a set of 16" wheel and would like a set of standed wheels to go back on but iv looked every were and cant find any. also iv looked at lots of other wheels but im unsure witch ones to go for so was wondering if the and won got any links were i could pick a set of nice wheels...

also wot the best drop with a set of 16" wheels on 40mm-50mm or is this still to low. remember i dont wont it to low just a nuff to close the gap in the archs....

40-50mm will be fine, you may need to bend/cut the bumper bracket in the front arches tho to avoid scrubbing. Easily done, have a search plenty on here about it.

Wheels are up to you. As said 16" standard and tyre sizes above.

will 15" wheels be too small for the cup or am i better off geting 16" wheels the standed size, just that been around a few places today to find out prices one 195/45/16 tyres and most places are just saying ther not a sort of tyre thay stock and abit expensive and saying 195/45/15 would be better to get hold of...

You need a 195/50/15
But 15'' are fine. I've bought them for mine.

a 50 profile tyre leaves a big arch gap on standard suspension.

imo get 15's over 16s and 195 50 15 tyres as they are cheaper than 45 profile and get some eibach sportlines with the money you will save....

right my mate got a renault megane with 15" alloys with 185/55/15 tyres, now i fort i would try them on my car just to see how thay felt and handle and wow i notice the change right away after having 17" alloys. now the thing is iv already orded my 16" alloys and im now thinking should of i orded 15"...will 16"still feel as good as 15" wheels. and the only thing that put me off with having 15" is that 195/50/15 can you still put 195/45/15 or will it just look s**t...
