Can someone please help me, my 2002 clio 172 won't rev past 3000 rpm and the electrical fault light is showing, I have had a local mechanic come out and plug in the diagnostic reader and it says that there is a problem with the immobiliser decoder ring.
Does anyone know how to solve this...
Managed to get the Clio on a diagnostic reader today and the fault shows up as the immobiliser ring. I'm a little bit confused as I expected there to be a fualt with the throttle body or the ecu.
So I think i am going to go down the route of buying a Race Technology dash2 and a cable throttle...
I need some help, I'm running an omex 710 ecu and am wanting to get rid of my standard ecu which is there to run the FBW throttle body and the standard dash clocks.
Because Omex can't run a FBW throttle body, I need to get a cable version. Is this just a case of buying a ph1 172 throttle body...
I have looked at a few threads about this, but none seem to be specific to what I'm asking.
I've got a Clio 172 02 model, it has been stood since september and tried to start it last night. It starts but won't go above 3000 rpm, the hazard lights also constantly flash even when you disconnect...
Does this look like a good price for an RB 182? Looks like the right grip on the steering wheel has worn away and the headlight washer jets are missing but other than that looks a good buy:

The member who used to own it says this:
