Just take the insert out? The only other options are the pure Motorsport one and the vibratech, both which will be worse than your current setup.
I fitted one a few weeks ago and I agree, it rattles like mad, but doesn't really bother me, the car has got no refinement whatsoever anyway so you...
Never had an issue with my meguiars clay bars. Surely a clay mitt is going to drag all the contaminants across the paintwork as it can't be folded like a clay bar can to show a fresh surface after picking up a load of crap
Nah I wouldn't have thought so. Silencers aren't restrictive like a cat.
I recently swapped my straight through centre section for a silenced one on my ktec stealth and can't say as I noticed any difference other than a much nicer commute that doesn't make my ears ring.
But, you can have my...
Hey guys. I'm toying with the idea of buying a civic fn2 as I'm getting a bit bored with the clio, but I think the only thing really letting it down is the gearbox/shifter.
I've replaced the bushes with yanoo brass ones and also replaced the white bits at the selector end with genuine Renault...

I think it's probobly more designed for looks though than adding any useful downforce.
Brill.
I don't understand your post though, what do you mean by you compared a NS with an OS?
Surely the NS and OS are completely different lengths otherwise there would only be 1 part number required for either side.
Or have I read it wrong?
Wow I can't believe this.
I Owned this car for over 3 years, from around 2011 to 2014ish and had no idea it had been written off previously lol.
There were no signs of any structural damage and all the body work was perfect.
Silly me, should have done a HPI check at the time.
Yeh that would work. Try just a sub with your existing setup first, you might find that now the sub is producing the bass you don't need to run the fronts to the point of them sounding crap trying to squeeze bass out of them
Yeh an underseat sub would work, but you need the ability to cut the bass from the standard speakers to stop them flapping at high volumes, sometimes only doable with an aftermarket headunit.
Duno about Bose, I personally would touch it with a barge pole.
The issue is really that speakers in doors arent designed for bass, subs are designed for bass.
The best thing you can do without spending a fortune is sound deaden all the panels around the speakers and seal any holes in the door cavitys.if your still not happy and still don't Want a sub the...
It's probably doable with mods, but it won't be as simple as bolting on a few pipes a turbo and an intercooler.
A complete engine swap would probably be easier and more reliable
Need the decoder ring that goes around the ignition.
There's plenty on eBay, most will sell as a full package.

Your first picture, the plug on the left with 8 wires is the ones for the 4 speakers so providing this is plugged into your headunits speaker output I can't see why they wouldn't be working.
Is the fader set to the front only?
