Converted my old pug 307 to single mass and 2 years later the gearbox s**t itself. Not sure if it was related or not but I didn't notice and extra vibrations from it
Yeh cut that bodged pipe and fit the cat. Then you will need to fit a blanking bolt into the hole in the straight pipe and put the sensor into the hole in the cat.
Pre cat sensor will be fine
Never mind, I found this thread and it sounds like the febis are a perfect fit. Always been impressed with the quality of febi too.

Hi guys.
While my subframe is down next week I'm going to change the inner roll bar bushings as they are looking a little perished.
I've seen on autodoc some febi bilstein ones with the same OEM part number as the ones listed on result parts direct, but including postage they are still only...
Hmm now you mention it I think I took that off last time to gain an extra inch or so.
I'll see how it goes, I can always tackle the subframe if needed but I'm certain I didn't last time
Has anybody tried to change the clutch on a 172 without moving the subframe?
About 7 years ago I did it on a 182 and I'm 99% sure all I did was remove both driveshafts and slid the box over into the arch and left the subframe in place as the bolts were spinning and it left me just enough room...
To be fair 1500 is the sort of price I had in mind. Decent body shops aren't cheap. Both sills and rear quarters is a massive job, then spraying more or less both sides of the car and blending with the other panels won't come cheap.
I didn't find it too bad on the drive to be honest, the worse part for me was trying to get the subframe off as the cages holding the captive nuts on snapped straight off and there was that much crap in there I couldnt get a socket or spanner on so I just ended up stripping the bay and taking it...
No idea on the body shop in that area, but I bet new rear quarters welded in along with new sills, filled then painted will cost a small fortune if done properly.
Sentimental value on the car I assume?
Bumper off
Drain box oil, Remove driveshafts, disconnect steering rack, drop subframe, remove upper and lower gearbox mount, jack up engine, undo all the bolts holding the box on and off she comes.
Or
Remove everything in sight to the right of the engine, leave subframe on and lift the box out...
I think PayPal seller protection only requires that the seller provides a tracking number for a sent item, they don't have to actually proove what they've posted.
Were silver models much cheaper when new as there seems to be loads of them for sale cheap. I find it odd that anybody would actually order a silver one when you could have ordered RB lol
I wouldnt worry about it, it'll fail the mot with a decat pipe on anyway weather the light is on or off.
Exhaust sounds great, makes me miss my old 182 with the same system on
Crunchy gears, 3rd and 4th synchros, hopefully the owner will let you rev it up enough to see of you get any crunching, it will be more apparent at high revs.
Does it pull to the side?
History of belts done at a reputable garage?
Rust on the arches and sills?
