    Full respray?!?!?!?

I know of a couple of decent places in Bristol.. James at Restomod in Warmley is brilliant. Recently had a lot of work done by him. He isn't cheap though but with paint you get what you pay for. I would expect to pay £2,000+ for a full respray.

Lawro's Super Clean Titanium 182 - Progress Thread

Where have you been mate? Lol! Unfortunately so, thankfully it was recovered with no damage and having not been driven on Sunday afternoon. I was extremely lucky and if it wasn't for the help of the guys on here and the general public I probably wouldn't have got it back. Thanks mate! :)

Lawro's Super Clean Titanium 182 - Progress Thread

Thanks mate, extemely lucky! I always wanted one when they were first released but the insurance would have killed me back then so this is the next best thing. I'm really pleased with it so far, it's a lovely car to drive. :)

    HiSpec 4 pots.

I have been looking at these too.. I'm sure Fred used to sell them. For reference, you can't get the 325mm kit under anything smaller than 17's..

Those two items are my next purchases along with a few more stainless bolts of the engine bay. Looking forward to cracking on with the car again! :)

Lawro's Super Clean Titanium 182 - Progress Thread

Update: I got the car back in my possession today and all is well. I have a technician coming from Chamelon tomorrow to fit a Tracker. I have gone for the 'Tracker Locate' which seems like a good bit of kit! The guys at Chamelon have been really helpful and the advise has been brilliant...

    Winter hibernation tips!!

I dry stored mine from November to March last year. I am probably one of the most anal people about my cars and even I just disconnected the battery and left it at that. It all seems completely unnessesary to me.

Thanks for the response, good to hear! I think I will give them a ring tomorrow and have a chat. Thanks mate, some of those look decent for the money!

    Trackers

The tracker also uses VHF, GSM and GPS so should technically be traceable in every instance. You also get the benefit of the power off service that would record its last actively even if it was to be found in the car. I still think it's a decent cheaper alternative to a tracker though. For...

A Garage would be my ideal solution but unfortunately finding one local is extremely difficult. I have been looking for months and I am on various waiting lists but it's not looking good and I need a short term solution.

    Trackers

I agree, for the sake of £40-£50 it's still a deterant eitherway. I'm not sure if it's worth paying the extra £100 and £25 a year in subscription charges to get the 'Tracker Locate' so it can be tracked by myself using GPRS and GSM..

On the steering wheel clamp side of things, can you recommend one guys?

    Trackers

Yeah the car already has a Cat1 alarm as standard but I doubt it would be as good as some of the aftermarket ones available these days. In my experience however, most people don't even pay attention to alarms so I don't think I would be too worried about upgrading it at this stage. Tracker and...

    Trackers

Following this weekends antics I am seriously considering purchasing a tracker. Before anyone says it, I know this isn't going to prevent the car being stolen but it's another safety precaution that could potentially assist in the car being returned in one piece. Now, I have done a fair bit of...
