Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
I was thinking the same but after some thought I think it's just a coincidence. They don't know where I live unless they followed me but I am pretty careful with that. I haven't been done there for a good couple of months either.
It may not even be the same...
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
The police seem to think they are being stolen to order and then shipped abroad. Whether that's the case or not I don't know. One of the 15 cars was a Cavalier 4x4 Turbo that had just been completely resprayed by the Pro-Garage. The same garage that did all my...
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Thats exactly what has upset me the most! It's just money to them but to me it's far more. All the time, effort and money that's gone into it to make it what it is. People work there ass off to get nice things in life and then some c**t comes along and just takes...
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Really appreciate all the comments and support. The police have been round and informed me that 15 hot hatches have been stolen over the last 4 weeks from the Bristol area and each one in the same circumstance. They have no leads at all as nobody ever witnesses it...
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Thanks for the support guys! It's finally starting to sink in now, hopefully someone has got some information. Apparently a lot of cars have been disappearing from Bristol in recent months. Somebody must know something, they can't just disappear like a fart in the...
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Yeah, I still have the keys in my possession. I don't know how it was stolen, possibly a low loader. Neighbours didn't hear anything though.
Hello guys,
My Clio was stolen last night some time between 2200 and 0800 this morning. I left the car on the road just up from my house and this morning it has gone.
It was stolen from the corner of Avon Vale Road and Roseberry Road in Bristol.
It hasn't sunk in yet, but as you can...
If it's a daily, 182 is the best bet in my opinion as you get the creature comforts but personally I would get the best car you can for your budget and not get too hung up on the model as they are all similar.
Thats where I reconise the reg from! When I met Dan last weekend the registration seemed really familiar and I have been racking my brains all week trying to think where I recognised it from lol!
Speak to this man above! ^
General preference is OEM rear discs and pads and Brembo HC discs with Ferodo DS2500's up front along with braided lines and some decent fluid. Decent set up for fast road use and George will do you a cracking price!
Cheers Tom! It's a lovely colour in the flesh, unflattering in photos admittedly. What's next on the list for yours?
Thats why I'm trying to go again next Friday as it's definitely getting colder now.
Next up is a set of Vibratechnics Engine mounts. I will have those powder coated black I...
Dan@SJM is doing a good deal but a bit of a track for you. I opted for PureMotorsport Top Mounts and CookSport springs personally so the price will differ but I think if you replaced everything with OEM parts without springs it was around £500 for parts only.
Cheers Jack, I'm extremely pleased so far. Still lots of bits on the list though!
You should definitely get up there, especially if it's local! :)
Thanks buddy! Your local so I'm sure you will see it about at some point. Lol
I recently replaced front and rear shocks, top mounts, inner tie rods, track rod ends, ARB bushes, steering rack bushes, ball joints and bottom arm bushes along with a GEO setup. The difference was incredible and mine was only on 65,000 miles. I would recommend it without question, all the bits...
On Sunday I went along to the Brecon and Black Mountain meet with some of the guys from CS and 197.net. I haven't really had much of a chance to use the car properly so took this opportunity to give it some hell!
The car was faultless and felt tight and well balanced. I'm over joyed with how it...
