Small update
Due to my ongoing spending issues I acquired a set of pms lower arms with the spherical bearings and strengthening plates for a bargain so couldn't say no.
No fitted pics but bit of struggle on the offside so had to 'adjust' it to fit but after a bit of loving persuasion they're...

All depends what you want from the car. Keeping stock interior you can decode the original ecu and relatively easily splice the 172 engine loom to the mk1 interior loom.
My conversion is more straightforward, as it's a track car I simply transplanted everything from the mk2...
I don't have a spare setup unfortunately, however as a fellow mk1 owner and mk1 F4R owner intrigued to see details of the car etc, do you have a project thread or similar?
I've used the pre loved Michelin and Dunlop variants from the eBay ex race series suppliers for years, and even completely ruined they offer up so much more grip than anything else. For the price too it's a no brainer.
Currently I'm on r888r's but they're s**t tbh compared but only running...

New alloy bonnet, cup spoiler and rear bumper all fitted. Slapped on the refurbished F1's, got a years ticket on it with no advisories and went for a spin!

You mean Gerrards at Mallory? That's supposedly the engine killer although done it several times on full slicks and I'm not exactly a wheelman but there was some sustained lateral g and engines not gone bang. Was same on my old f7 turbo motor, no issues!
Lol, just realised after reading the thread back, fitted 10mm hub spacers to the car last year and totally forgot..... so that's 26mm rear spacing, thought it looked a bit wide, flol!!
I'm considering full original, so no spacers, original springs, pattern mild steel exhaust, remove colour coded strips and return orange to side repeaters and front indicators. And back to original spoiler..... But not yet!
No rubbing issues as yet, but literally just driven it off drive and...
