I 'm feeling the car "searching" the road a bit when on full throttle , braking.
What would be good to replace on the front end , which rubbers ?
My balljoints are defo going to be replaced (had a bit of "play" with the plyers on them last time up on the bridge) ; what about for...
I can buy some lovely Speedline Corse wheels, but the offset is 43,5 whichj will come out shorter by 5 mm compared to the Turinis i have on now..
HOWEVER i will be wanting some 205 width tyres instead of the 195 i have on now...
Will the car look silly or is it barely noticable ; these 5mm...
Am getting some 15inch 7J Speedlines because the excuse is that my front tyres on the Turinis are on the rebound and will need changing soon :D:D , might as well get some wheels then he !?
I've noticed that lots of you on Speedlines ride the 205-50-15 tyresize. Is'nt this 50 a little too...
I had my Cam belt + aux belt changed 2 months ago.
What surprised me is that my engine still has the "whining" noise on start-up as before the belts were changed. (whining almost dissapears when warm though)
Also when checking the bill there is only the Cambelt-kit mentioned.. nothing...
Before the cams etc. were put on i checked regularly and almost never had to fill up the oil, well very little anyway.
Since the cams were put on, which like to rev by the way, i noticed today that i will need to fill up the oil more frequently. Is that okay/normal or have i busted...

Posted in Engine & gearbox also , but hungry for feedback :o , no replies in old thread so i made a new one.
before :
After colombo & Bariani cams, 182 manifold, inlets matched, v6 airbox + custom remap by Fastchip
Good results !? (power is at the wheels)
I have searched through very many threads, only some came up with an offset of even 28..
The wheels i would love to buy seem to have an offset of around 30 / 32
This being around 8mm further out than my Cup Turinis gets me thinking it will give problems ? Lowered the car but not too much...
maybe not making sense :o bare with me + my English..
The gearbox has slanted teeth gears does'nt it ? I know the race boxes often have straight ones ?
The slanted ones transfer a lot of power outwards putting stress on the box/ pushing outwards and splitting the damn thing. Is it possible...
Hi all, i can get some of these for a reasonable price, not damaged. Am liking the 7,4kg weight of these + the looks ofcourse
But ive been using the searchbutton and found some threads; It seems opinions differ, some saying they will bend and get briddle ?
I do'nt drive my car daily but...
Is there a special method because of the different material here ? Powder coat or paint ?
I'll be buying some magnesium wheels soon , they're black so they HAVE to change colour ;)
i have no idea, no experience with painting metals
We're in the progress of fitting the new cams, only one problem has come up. The bolt at the end of one of the old cams has to come out to put on the new cam; it's stuck in there pretty good; we ca'nt get it out  !!
Any ideas how to remove it , or just order a new bolt ? I actually...
i received them from Ben, after looking closely at them there is a spot where the grinder might have "bit" itself in and there is a "dent" on this spot.
excuse my English :o but when looking at the pictures you'll see what i mean..
Will this be a problem (maybe a different flow through this...
Never mind the title ; was meaning Ultra's ofcourse.. Supers' are'nt made anymore
I think the 16inch look pretty good, but the 15inch i'm thinking will optically come out very/too small ?
I have searched but i do'nt think there's anybody riding them ? If you are , show it please !! :)
Hello all,
Thinking i might be interested in some lightweight wheels, Buddyclub is an affordable one (Volk prices are for Porschedrivers  ) I've looked at the P1 Qualifying ones, very light.
The 172 Cup has ET 38 does'nt it ?
After mailing the company who sells them in Holland he said...
I've finally gotten to the point of ordering them. http://www.colombo-bariani.com/popup_dettaglio.php?lang=eng&id_prodotto=103
Road medium that do'nt need any other engine-mods.
Also i've ordered a 182 exhaust manifold, reworked/matched inlets from across the border (from AWT ) and a Espace...
I was reading Markcup's thread on his quest for loosing weight which never stops :) .
And I think the idea of changing the steeringrack for a non-powersteering one which Mark did is great, and am looking into things to do this aswell.
After asking for the rack here in Holland at the chop-shop...
These last couple of weeks i'm getting a creaking noise, first noticed it in a fast curve ; those nice ones you can take at 50/60mph , when the car is really "hanging" in the curve. I have not noticed any noises while parking (the full lock noise of which i have read a lot about)
Also a...
Long time ago i posted some pics off ebay to see what some of you thought about these seats, well they're finally in there :D It turns out the color was (almost) spot on; the pics on ebay did'nt show the right color !
I'll post them again tommorow, my handy could'nt do the job with the...
I've got my cambelt service coming up and am really thinking about some cams.
I've read a lot about them; takes the car up to 200 hp and such, but is the car actualy going to be a lot quicker or are you just changing the powerband to either more torque or more topend power ?
Before i spend...
rocking of engine doing my head in; been to Reno twice and these people completely rely on their computer looking up the parts, and when asking about the parts they look at you like you're from another planet. So i'm not too sure they're giving me the right numbers ..
looking for all 4 of...
Went to the Reno headquarters last week, where they keep the cashflow coming from our pockets going, to check up on the costs for the number 3 on here. Already done the no4, still got movement that was'nt there before. The no4 cost me 20 pounds, the no3 will cost me 20. I'm thinking of doing...
