I have a 1.5 dci Clio 106hp version... with 240mn of torque.
Tbh its pretty sweet, with the 6 speed box out of the Clio "sports" (197 & 225) its a nice lil gear box although annoying having to change gear at 4k!
It does pull very well and not to slow 133 gps top speed on the way to the ring...
Seriously i cant say how straight the car is, everything lined up perfectly.
The jig done wonders to it, when they offered up the new subframe it fitted perfectly, All the panels fit perfectly, no wide panels gaps etc....
The guys have seriously put some top effort it... Next to go on the jig...
Right i thought i would give you all an update, Car has been jigged and is straight as you like.

Has anybod fitted a tow bar to a Mk2 ph1 172?
My local Renault claim they dont sell them for the 172's and every time i look on the net/speak to a tow bar place they say will do the except for the...
If you want to go mad on front intercooler.....
A Megan 225 intercooler fits nicely in there.... alot bigger than the 100 diesel version.....
A remap and intercooler are what i would recommend.... things like airfilter, Zurst wont make much of a difference....
I like it,,,,,, well apart from the Mud flaps, Exhaust, White bits, Stickers, Wheels, Bonnet scoop front grill.... oh and are those side indicators standard?? Not to keen on them.
£1700 fully comp? With £850 excess?? WTF?
I dont think i would have bothered going fully comp and lowered the exces... or lowered the excess... paid a slightly higher premium.....
Unfortuanlty when you have a claim you will always be upset with the out come.
Ouch £850 excess.... never have anything over £100 myself....
TBh if it is written off and its not to badly damaged buy it back and repair.... When rebuilding a car you dont need brand new genuine parts that most insurance companies use....
Tbh i consider myself to be a Mature Driver, Well i have to be tbh....
I prefer country lane's for pleasure driving... i really cant be bothered with around town driving... let alone racing against any car's.
Since i started doing Trackdays my driving on the road has calmed down alot and my...

Not at all....

Same item... price difference....
I paid £34.49 for my Steering wheel... DT sell it for £99.99
My personal advise would be just go with a standard car.... you will find the limits of your driving before the limits of your car..... more so when driving the Ring.
TBH you want to make sure you have decent tyres on the car, that your brakes are very good.... (worth taking a set of pads with...
Once fully repaired to my standard with my mods... i am looking at £2400+
Car cost me £1k....
Parts So far £600.... about £300 more to go....
Repair of Car £500 (bro in law is paying for)
So all in all £2400ish...
Also thing like belts and water pump will be done whilst its there, 182...
