Mine is different to that, I actually get a BSOD with INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE. I'm still on the ASUS Rampage III also, must be something to do with my configuration, even though 8.1 ran without issue.
Its definitely a worthy upgrade from Windows 7, it boots a lot quicker and is quicker under use as well. I've also found with the newer OS's (8.1 & 10) that over time they don't seem to get bogged down like Windows XP / 7 did. I've got my brother's laptop with me at the moment for a screen...
Mine seems to be behaving more now, I don't know if this is due to updates or because I've configured auto logon in the registry, but for the last few days its booted up no problem.
Yes I would expect so. I've installed it on my brothers laptop while its with me for a replacement screen and some upgrades, its working faultlessly on there and now works great on my HTPC now it's loaded up with Windows 10 drivers from the ASUS site.
I wanted to return to Sky ideally, but their fibre offering is poor in comparison to Virgin. I ended up renewing with Virgin and had the broadband upped to 160MB down, 10MB up.
I'm starting to get more annoyed with it than I am enjoying using it, my HTPC built without issue but now the WiFi adapter only manages circa 350mbps instead of 766mbps, PITA.
A useful tip for those with multiple monitors wanting different backgrounds, as it seems the functionality has been removed in Windows 10:

There are alternative drivers as per my post above, works perfectly for my X-Fi: http://forums.creative.com/showthread.php?t=714135
There are others I believe depending on what model you have, I'm thinking of upgrading to a ZxR.
It took me all morning to get it working successfully on my desktop, mostly due to it installing fine and then having issues when trying to start-up after a reboot (INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE), but also had issues with lack of drivers for my SoundBlaster X-Fi which Creative aren't providing until...
They were £19 yesterday for Prime members, back to £35 now. I've got one setup on the TV upstairs as per the video in this thread and it works well, the quality of some of the films just isn't watchable though. I ordered another one for £19 arriving today for the TV downstairs.
I know a lot of people hate wireless, but one of the big attractions for me is the fact that if I want the use of my desk for something other than using the computer, it takes seconds to just put the mouse and keyboard elsewhere and I have the full use of the desk.
I don't get the appreciation personally, if I had to type with a mechanical keyboard all day each day it would drive me up the wall. Quiet & wireless is what I prefer.
I need to change my fluid out, I just need to build up the motivation to empty out the two separate loops :( It needs an overhaul with CPU, Memory, Motherboard & GPU upgrades but we've spent an absolute fortune on a new kitchen and I've spent a small fortune on a second Microserver recently so...
Mine were done by the WheelSpecialist and I wouldn't recommend them, they refurbed them but not to the standard they portrait in my opinion. All their showroom wheels were perfection, the actual customer items not so much.
