Hi all, my power steering is making a loud whirring noise on start up and when you steer at slow speeds. It's steering fine and isn't particularly heavy to steer, but it's sounding very laboured and getting noisier each day. I know that's not very scientific but does anyone know what I'd be...

I always hear good things about Birchdown but time and time I've rang them and left voice messages to have work done and never hear back. :( I want to give them my money but seemingly can't! Accordingly I've booked my car in to SC Auto Electrics in Bolton next week to have some work done on my 182.

It wasn't I'm afraid, don't think my problem was as severe as yours sounds, just trying to think of things other than injectors!

I had an EML flashing with the fault saying injector four for a while - changed leads, coil pack, plugs with no luck, still flashed now and then. Stuck a new pre-cat lambda in and car has behaved since. Something to consider.

I've got some brand new Eibach Sportlines to fit to my 182, can anyone recommend a good place that can do this (cheaply!)? I'm in sunny Warrington - been living down south for the past couple of years so I'm clueless about good NW places, thanks.

54mm bolt spacing on the 172s, 182 cup is 60mm. I've got a 182FF and had to fit front hubs off a 172 to make the Koni adjustables fit.

Will be moving to Manchester from March so will be keen to join any drives ... particularly in North Wales. :cool:

Parked up in a lay by at the top point of the triangle, we returned waves to one another. Good fun out there today but still a bit damp in places.

Thanks, that's annoying as they seemed really good value for money! What does everyone here go for coilover pack wise on 182 Cups that's sub £600?
