PAS very loud

  Arctic 182FF
Hi all, my power steering is making a loud whirring noise on start up and when you steer at slow speeds. It's steering fine and isn't particularly heavy to steer, but it's sounding very laboured and getting noisier each day.

I know that's not very scientific but does anyone know what I'd be looking at £ wise (parts and ~labour hours) to sort this out?

Guessing I will need a new PAS pump (Adam from Wolverhampton's quoted me reasonably for a new one) but are there any other bits I should get replaced while doing this?

FYI my car is a 182FF on 74k miles and unfortunately the big cambelt change was done about six months ago!

I assume you've checked the fluid level? Some would advise to replace the aux belt as it has to be removed.
