Mark I would imagine he means for the rwyb day at pod.. But I think a meet around Leicester would be great... South Leistershire even better :)
I'd love a rwyb day... Depends when obviously
For track use you wanna adjust it to your preference and driving style, I can say I opt for just over -2deg camber and a touch of toe out.. however I have just set mine up with 1mm toe in as I found it a little unstable at high speed corners.
This week I've;
Removed Gaz GHa coilovers that were on the car when I got it
Fitted second hand cup shocks
Cooksport Springs
Eibach Camber bolts
PMS top mount and strut brace
4 Goodyear eagle f1 A2's
2 new rear calipers
Rear discs, pads and fitting kit and fresh Dot4
I use Lemforder on mine.. Just bought two more today.
@Feirny Do you still work at Euro? I'm trying to get a price from our local one for Pagid Blues but they reckon they don't do them :/
You want the Lemforder Item from Euro, It's the same for all sports.
The document for the rear brake thing is to say that cups don't need as high amount of rear braking as normal rules state.. Doesn't mean you can pass with a seized valve or zero% rear brakes. Too many people think it's ok to...
I just see a lot of metal and not much space for air to get through so just think it won't help the brakes. The decat, I actually get better performance out of mine with the standard cat in place! However with a miltek I'd be surprised to see you flagging noise meters
Decat will just make it louder and more likely to ping a db meter. Those wheels don't look great for keeping brakes cool but the tyres are very good. And the whiteline is a good upgrade too!
Xenons, half leather seats, spare set of wheels, engine wiring loom, fuses and relays, wiper blades, body panels (if painted), steering wheel if cruise control is there, suspension except front shocks. Wishbones will prob have less castor than your 182 ones though. Cooling system...
Tawny owl meet is too far for me really, went once and didn't get home till gone mid night.. And I like my sleep haha. Plus got a baby that wakes up early :(
I'd bung the hole and tie the sensor up, pretty sure I've got a couple lambda hole bungs in my tool box. Easy to get and pretty standard size across most cars
I've had both these systems. Ktec on was LOUD and the btm isn't. Ktec boom like mad when on motorway but sound great on full chat. The BTM has a nice subtle noise decatted or not but doesn't really boom much at all. When I swapped to the btm I was doing 80 miles on the motorway everyday which is...
I think meets at track days is good, I'm planning to pop down to donington this Sunday for a few hours. Standing around in a car park for ages really doesn't interest me as I hate the cold haha. Plus watching cars be driven hard is always good.
My door open light keeps coming on now and again, more so lately. Is it a common thing with these? Also the interior light doesn't come on with it which I find confusing.
Anyone seen this before?
Your tracking will be miles out, and the reason you're turning the wheel more is because the tracking is so far out, you're creating more scrub angle and tyre slip. Basically understeer ing. Full alignment will make it much better. Also I'd suggest going with some camber bolts so that can be...
