Yeah I got one from halfords not long ago (old car) was £15 a plate with their logo on.. But kinda ghosted so it's actually hard to see the logo. And done in about 10 minutes. License and v5 was required I believe
get a check done so you know what you have already, Then get a pyrometer (SP?) to test the temps after a track session.. If they're alot hotter on the outer edge then more camber, and if hotter inner edge then less camber. But on my car I was quite happy around 2.5 front and just under 2 rear...
I thought it was 172 hence my earlier reply, if it's a 182 then even more so don't bother as 182 cat is only 200 cell which is the same as most sport cats anyway. Save time money and hassle and keep the cat in place. Sensors are easy though
I fit loads of efficient grip/blue response/ that sort of thing to loads at work, they basically built for better economy... Which comes from less grip. No good for driving round corners quick (before CS police get involved, who owns a cliosport and doesn't push it hard round corners from time...
On a 172 it might help a bit, you won't really notice any performance gains.. and it'll make Mot time a right hassle and if you get pulled by a copper who's had a bad day and wants to make a point of it can make you get it taken off. Not worth it. I fitted a cat back onto my 182 and it's so much...
Efficient grip are s**t on a car like the clio, great for granny going to the shops in a micra but something with a bit of power and handling.. Just no. Better buying 4 t1r's or rains port 2's.
Have you thought about the servo pipe being split? That would cause hard brake pedal. And not much assistance. Try pumping pedal and hold lots of pressure on then turn engine on while holding pedal. If it doesn't move much then it'll be servo or servo pipe.
3k in 5th is just under 60mph ;)
also just find a car being broken for spares on here/ scrapyard and cut off the wires you need. Loads being broken these days
Use a pipet to suck out the old fluid from the reservoir, fill with super blue, open N/S/R bleed nipple and have someone pump the pedal until blue fluid comes out the caliper (catching the fluid with a suitable pipe and bottle) and make sure the reservoir doesn't run dry. You be screwed if that...
Yeah same thing. The first line are only ones other than Renault I know off for cup packs. And people use them without issue. Renault are something like £40 a side
You need the longer track rods, FTR5277 is the part number for a first line item. Other than that it's Renault only. Then track rod ends I'd get lemforder items from Eurocarparts. Probably £70-£80 on parts. Then labour should be about an hour plus tracking. That's about £80 where I work.
Ooh, we had a non sport with drums in at work today and I had a look. Looks like you don't need to take the drum off and you need a E16 I would guess. Female torx socket. I think 16 but can't be certain.
so undo the 4 torx and pull the hub/drum off, then re fit with the shims between the axle...
