Both PS3s have the same everything apart from IP. Guess i need to try a switch instead of the crossover.

Still cant get this to work with a crossover cable... :(

Also it only lets me do internet connection settings and so wont let me continue without default router ip and DNS?!?

I've just read somewhere else that i do need a crossover cable. I'll give it a try with standard done first.

Not sure. Think I read crossovers don't work. Ps3s don't support adhoc. Would a network hub work?

Me and my room mate both have PS3s but i have only just found out that you can't link them together via an ethernet cable. (AD-HOC) How s**t is that!!! We only have internet through a proxy and PS3s are blocked so is there any other method or way round that we can play COD via system link?

I currently have a decent set of in ear headphones for music whilst on the move but want something a bit more comfortable/better sound whilst at home and also for playing guitar with. No idea what to look for and dont want to spend too much although i appreciate its a get what you pay for market.

Only reason i've JB is to have calendar and todo lists on my lockscreen. Hopefully Apple will incorporate that into 4.0 so JB wont be needed.

You can get USB and SD adaptors for iPad... I'm sure someone will make a dock with video out too. So only missing optical. I think ive used me MacBook drive 5 times in a year.

What do you mean? Its set for my MBP to be the main display. I want all my tools on the MBP screen not the monitor. Just want the monitor for videos/itunes/iphoto. Even fullscreen flash videos close when i click on the MBP screen.
