Calculator works fine on my 6S?

Updated my 6S on Tuesday night, a few nice tweaks & enhancements, weirdly my phone seems to be faster and more responsive than it was on iOS10, battery life is no worse, in fact it's probably the smoothest release they've done so far IMO, just seems to all work as it should! :hushed:

Still unsure what to do, iOS11 is out later today, so will install that on my 6S and see how it performs, if there's no noticeable slow down I'll probably keep it another year... :neutral:

Nope, the 5S & 6 have the 1st gen fingerprint reader, the 6S, 7 & 8 all have the 2nd gen fingerprint reader which is much faster

We'll find out in 5 hours time I guess... which I'll miss, but there will be a nice summary posted online soon after.

My 6S is just coming up to 2 years old now, still looks mint, works great, and had a new battery over the summer due to the recall, so it's making me consider keeping it another year, which I never do! So it will all depend what they announce on the 12th as to whether or not I am swayed into...

Still not had this done LOL But we're going to the Trafford Centre on Friday, so I just remembered and booked it in for repair whilst we're there.

How odd, the 5 speed GM auto box in the E46 was not great, hopefully the later one is better.

Has it got 6 gears?

GM boxes were used in the later E46, the E9X should have a ZF 6HP gearbox, so that's odd.

Shocking, but at least nobody was hurt, that's the main thing.

Even the so called gen 1 gets the new dual core processor over the original model (which I presume you are calling a gen 1), so should perform tasks quicker than your current one, depends if you have any issues with sluggish performance?

I'd just get a space grey (not black) one if that's the colour you want, any fascia case will add bulk and look crap IMO, but that's a good price if it's in mint condition, without marks scratches.

The guy I spoke to on live chat told me it needs to be after 5th December, looks like you didn't get that memo...

Apparently they can't do the repair until after 5th December due to availability of the batteries, so I'll book in for after that.

Just on live chat with Apple, mine is affected, need to find some time to book it in.

Pre-watch I just used my phone for boarding passes, so can use that if required. I am right handed, my watch is on my left hand, so no issues here, you must be in the minority to be fair.
