I'm locked to 30fps on my One X, but at least I still get 4K visuals, it's like a lesser quality version of quality mode on the Series X apparently. Expected the Series X to be 120fps in performance mode and 60fps in quality mode, so this must be very resource heavy if it's 60fps & 30fps...

Yeah, I got an SE last year when they came out, upgraded from a Series 3 and had and original before that, so this is my 3rd Apple Watch. No complaints, liking the larger screen and does everything I need, not bothered about ECG or blood O2, so went SE over a Series 6. Sounds like it (n)

Even my SE was a massive upgrade from my Series 3, so this will be night & day!

I know a couple of people who have been trying for ages, but just miss out every time and you can guarantee its mostly fcuking scalpers out for profit. I'm in no rush, my One X will do for now until the Series X becomes more readily available.

My XR was fine on iOS 15, I know a few people with older devices on iOS 15, but they don't bug older devices to get people to upgrade, it's more likely an iOS 15 issue that needs a fix.

The other problem you have is that you can't anodise steel, so you would never get a like for like finish, even if the substrate metals were both a brushed surface to then add the colour. The process for colouring steel is PVD, but the finish is different, which if you're after a perfect match...

Surely you can get a red clone milanese loop off AliExpress or similar? Looks good though... Not keen on the red sports strap as the colours don't match, might look better in person.

If you don't need things like the blood O2 & ECG, then consider the SE model, does pretty much everything else, but is a lot cheaper and still a very competent smart watch with a lot of features. Or find a Series 6 which does have those extras for less money than a Series 7 and won't be hugely...

So quick update on the 13 after a couple of weeks, the battery life is superb, I took it off charge at 08:40 yesterday morning and it's still on 41% now, impressive. Camera is noticeably better, that was to be expected as the XR camera was ok but nothing special, but I'm very happy with this...

Same I removed the case & protector from the XR yesterday to prep for sale and it feels weird LOL

Don’t like the case I got, has a raised lip on the back and is not comfortable in the hand. So I’ve just ordered a Spigen case off Amazon which will arrive tomorrow.

My XR was setup exactly how I wanted so this was perfect for me. The only hassle were a couple of the online banking apps where I couldn’t remember the login details 🙈 All sorted now though

Seems it doesn’t take as long as I thought, also mega easy to setup, hold the new phone near the old one and bingo! It’s literally cloned all my apps, settings, etc, onto the new phone, even swapped the watch over, so just need to do banking apps, move the SIM card over and we are done.

Screen protector fitted, put it in the case and it’s now on charge. It will take aaaages to setup all the apps & stuff so I will just leave it overnight and have a proper play tomorrow then report back 👍🏻
