why will he need 400bhp surly an lsd and slicks would give better times,that reno 5 with a 172 turbo was doing low 12's at 6psi

hi mike when i've spoke to nick at hillpower before about throttle bodies he's said bodies would work well with the standard cams,some of these cams knocking about are lifeless below 5k

youve never used ohlins but you rate them,

its not very quick on 17's so i dread to think what its like on 18's,i dont know about this shape but all the other model clio's have never driven well on big wheels,i prefer 15's on my 172

i'm probably the only one but the wheels look to big on it,and as for fitting h&r's how is that going to spoil the handling,the reason why the 197 handles well is down to the chasis and h&r make the suspension for the new cup car

edde probably has a guide on his pc how to fit a veyron engine in a clio,its a really simple conversion

i recon a twin engine 172 both running high compression flux capacitors would do the job

thers not a lot wrong with the standard cams it whats around them like head imperfections and inlet etc

30bhp is a hell of a lot of power to get out of a 2.0litre with simple mods,a lot still dont reach it with cams

Re: RR results for 1*2s made a big difference to mine low down i'd gained nearly 10fpt in places

why is everyone so bothered about it been 200bhp would you be gutted if it only made 199bhp,i've been in a 200bhp clio and it was lifeless upto 5k+ due to the cam profile, i'd rather have a nice driveable car that pulls when from low down

at the end of the day if the one that came off your car isnt bad and didnt have many imperfections then you wont gain a lot its luck of draw i suppose,and they are normally a bit better on a 182 anyway
