BYC who make a lot of "aero" parts for civics (hence the name BackYard Civics) started making afew "aero" parts for the clio. if I was going to go down the splitter route, which I...
I may be wrong, but you could make one easy enough. threaded bar, washers, a large socket or similar and some nuts.
would work out cheaper than buying a tool no doubt
just to update this.
no noise to speak of, AWESOME pads. only get a very slight noise if its below -1 (with brake ducts) for the first few brake applications.
Would recommend them to anyone as a pad
Trying to figure out the best way to have the heater blower wired to a switch so I can do away with the climate control display, I know bridging pin 1 and 5 on the resistor makes the blower turn on full. could I not just bridge pin 1-5 with a switch in the middle? or is that the pikey...
Mines a 20mm, was a little bit of a tight squeeze to get it over the pipe but does go on with some wd40 or similar on the OD of pipe.
25 would also work im sure.
If it did cause issues you could always drill afew rows of small holes or larger ones backed with some black mesh, youd hardly see them and possibly sort the “issue”
What forums are there for kitcars? I was on the madaboutkitcars forum but its proper dead
my 182 ff needs a new screen after fitting the cage (DOH!)
can I use the non auto wiper screen and just bypass this function or will this "potentially play havoc with the electrics" like iv been told by the guy trying to sell me the more expensive screen.
Its a fast road/track car so no doubt...
I had a Blobeye Scoob Was a very capable car, even more so after id spent abit of money on it.

It was a proper nightmare But it does split just before the B pillar.
We ended up cracking my window screen (can just make it out in the pics above) and putting a gouge in the top of my dash just above the clocks.
it was a proper tight fit but I won
So, in the January sales an order has been placed...
Also Booked a trackday, Donnington 20/1/18
proper excited but also nervous, haven't been on track in over a year now so booked some tuition just to brush up aha.
@ripp no problem mate, still going strong now after the injector change. My advice if you can is to replace all 4 at the same time. Just easier while your there and you know you shouldnt have a recurrence in afew months
Hey guys. iv had a problem in the past with the decat/centre section joint having an air leak.
a lot of the systems now run sleeved decats that do away with the olive joint/flare design.
has anyone tried doing this before? (sorry for bad drawing skills, you get the idea though)
Thought it would be a good idea to have a thread with the different "real world" examples of DB coming from different exhaust setups to give people an idea.
obviously there are many variables to what db YOUR car will put out compared to another but just as a bench mark really.
Im currently...
just a quick one. Currently fitting my engine and gearbox mounts. The engine mount on the OEM has a square piece that holds/locates the engine onto it. Mine are like this VVV
Is that normal and im over thinking or do i need to take somthing off old mount?
Old mount
