Not had that with mine, I was sceptical at first but since owning I've not had one negative comment, only about the stripes but they were off straight away. Pictures don't do the RB any justice as I was unsure about buying mine when I saw the advert but when I saw it in the flesh it was then I...
Failed on:
- Both front springs cracked
Replace with standard or Sportlines?
- Rear discs & pads need replacing
Best option and where to get them? There's a pretty big variety.
Baring in mind I've just had a new replacement engine + everything else to go with it, so I'm a little short on...
Welcome Rich.
Check the For Sale section on here, usually some decent one's for sale.
Or if you are going to look at one, show us the link of the advertisement and people on here can tell if you it's worth it, or to leave it.
I've always been a fan of the Mk4 R32's , the ones that people have turbo'd or supercharged sound amazing especially with the milltek systems:

Cup's:
1. Standard
2. Lowered, cage
3. Lowered, Badman halford's alloys
And saw the LY 182 heading into Truro, looked real nice, such a nice colour in the flesh.
I've had a look through some other threads and no luck.
Has anyone modified the bottom part of the air con/heater unit so a larger can/bottle can fit?
It's great for smaller cans, it's just a tad annoying for anything bigger.
I had my 172 at 19 (I'm now 20) and I was paying £100 a month which I thought was ridiculous.
No matter what wage your on that £400 is buying lunch for the owner of the insurance company.
I was trying to help find the new apprentice at work car insurance for when he turns 17 next Month, and I couldn't find anything under £3000! Joke.
If I was getting those sorts of quotes I'd forget driving all together and wait a year or two because 3k is serious amount of money.
Best of luck...
Currently looking at giving the car a good detail as it's swirl city at the moment.
Looking at all the detail products it's a little confusing but I know like anything else when you jump into it'l soon make sense.
Is this ok to begin with...
Sounds like the power steering pump is on it's way out but I'd take it to a specialist anyway. Since the PAS is driven from the AUX belt I'd get it seen to sooner rather than later.
Also check your power steering fluid.
