Thanks mate, sorry I didn't manage to get any during the process as I was just focusing on practicing technique as it was my first attempt. I'm doing my friends 3 series in a week or 2, I will make sure I get some 50:50s then. Need to find a decent light source first as it was quite hard to see...
Cheers guys,
products wise I used auto smart evo3 with a white hex pad because rejuvenate on the white hex pad wasn't giving me the results I was after.
I then cleansed with rejuvenate on a blue hex pad then sealed with 2 layers of tough coat and topped with zymol titanium.
:approve:
Thanks Luke, yea I really agree. It will be done at some point, along with a wheel refurb to freshen them up!
The de-cat is brilliant thanks mate, so sorry to hear about the T :(
Yeah, the grilles could do with going satin black at some point. The faded bluey/grey colour kind of let's the rest of it down at times!

Could be an idea, hoping to try the different rubbers though first.
Thanks mate, appreciate that.
I've tried the socket trick, and it didn't work. My exhaust rubbers are completely shot after being replaced at Xmas.
So I saw on here that Fred mentioned gutting out the rubber from the mount and shoving in an oval rubber mount... but does anybody have any idea what size/type I would need...
Bloody hell Sam, nice motor!!
Just how old are you mate if you don't mind me asking? It's interesting what you said about the insurance. Would love one of these!
I think it looks really tidy tbh!!
Shiny too, but then I'd expect nothing less!
Glad you're enjoying it mate, could tell it was hard letting go of the frp.
I found quite the opposite with a decat... just had one fitted and it seems to rev and pull much better. Much more than I had hoped tbh!
I ran with the CAF removal jobby for about a month and found it running quite poor so I put it back in.
