Throttle body is clean and new cts fitted and still the same.
do I need to disconnect the battery to allow the ecu to recognise the change??
also I have found that there is only two wires coming of the cts plug and what seems to be a third green wire that has only 1mm coming from the plug...
No, no belt work has been done! the only mechanical work that has been done in the past 6 months has been service related

So as above, over the past few days she's struggled to start and there's been a chirping noise coming from the belt area. (Also the dephaser has been making a little noise when warm but not recently)

Went with the cup setup mate. I've got the cup wishbones aswell for the extra degree and ahalf of castor, it really helps on the exit of the corners.
And I assume you were referring to the Porsche lol, he had a few really good smooth laps by the end of the day. Still not as quick as his type-r tho
cleaning the throttle body out with penetrating oil and a toothbrush. There was a lot of cr@p in mine and that seemed to resolve it, well it's not been back since.
Nope! and now more issues (all minor), since cadwell I've got a broken gearbox mount, exhaust rubber and bracket on the back box.
just bought a new bracket + rubber today but not sure weather to go with oe or a better gearbox mount ... They all seem quite expensive from what I've found.
Hi guys, went with the local guys for a rolling road day today, here's the results:-
is this what you would expect for a standard apart from k&n 12year old car which has covered 120000 miles??
all the other guys had a fair bit more power and a much smoother graph although were lower...
Well I've still got 5 172 alloys so I'm thinking I might get the best one done to match and keep the damaged one as a road spare.
I'm going to get the others done something funky as track wheels at some point, still undecided on colour I might go tango orange.
So after a Long day with a few minor issues she's all done! All the suspension is fitted along with the cup lower arms and my shiny wheels are on too.
Sadly no in progress pictures (due to grease). I'm painting my callipers next week so will get some pic's of the setup then.
Yeah 8 days all in for mine they did sort 3 of mine really well but one had a chunk missing so they just flattened it out.
I'm very happy tho:p
