Hi guys
so I'm going to the nurburgring later in the month and am making my self road legal. (Warning triangle, breathalyser, gb stickers)
my question is what do I need to do with my headlights? I've read you need to change the beam pattern and this can be done with deflectors (eBay or...
I had also ensured she was fully serviced before cadwell giving her new plugs, new leads, fresh oil and filter, new pollen filter and a complete fluid check, coolant, brake and empty washer bottle (weight reduction FTW) I also decided to remove the rear seats although we ended up grinding...
I should have mentioned this earlier but after having my tracking done (with 2 degrees toe in) the mechanic asked me to have a look at my brakes and said these need sorting now. so my new discs pads and other goodies turned up
after removal of the front discs
outside
inside
as you can see...

I bought some new ht leads and fitted them, I've also checked the plugs and have 3 old ngk and 1 Bosch so after a little inspection have decided it to be best knowing the coil pack is new I would order a full set of ngk's and have a complete new ignition system put it all back together (with old...
So after a buying a 172 2 weeks ago I've had a dodgy idle issue, a immobiliser issue, (now resolved)and today she starts misfiring and the eml flashes. I have used my obd2 but no code appeared to be stored (its probably the torque app I use not dectecting) any ideas where to start??
Just ordered 4x t1-r's, brakes next... I think I'm going with brembo hc disc's + ferodo ds2500 (upfront). standard rear disc's with matching ferodo rear pads. Probably best she has a fluid change aswell, This all being dependant on my visit to mick Monday. Gotta make sure she's worth the cash
So relieved, after hours of reading different forums and trying to resync the key I removed and checked all fuses one by one and all good. I nearly didn't bother but thought I'd try firing her up and hey presto she runs (whoop whoop!)
Many thanks guys
So I thought I was being clever and disconnected the battery in a attempt to clear the warning ready for the journey home later. Just my luck it won't start up. Any ideas
