When you really treat your car what do you do?
Im new to all this stuff, I thought autoglym was the only polish till the other day :)
I washed my car with AG bodywork shampoo, clay'ed with meguires, washed again, both with the two bucket wash, polished with AG ultra deep...
Cheers mate, I used Meguires Clay kit, just cause I got it from frauds!! Im sure it was you I was pestering the other night :)
It was...hard work...! But the amount of crap that came off was unreal, on both the sides and roof made the clay bar orange...:S

I guess Velcro would be a good idea, as im looking at getting a 3/4 plate, so i could keep the normal one in the boot incase the coppers weren't to kind to the plate :)
i would use tape but when cleaning id like to be able to remove them...!
And mate, if your plates have been nicked, do you...
Does anyone know of any cheap laptops?
It will literally be used for emails and internet browsing, a SD card slot would be ideal but not necessary.
Been looking at Toshiba and Acer but no brand is jumping out as they all seem to be the same to me!
Cheers

Ahahaa thats brilliant, I doubt it took much explaining did it?
Thats the only thing I hate about doing insurance quotes, hundreds of emails and pointless phone calls!!!
Whats the best way, I know a few people are going to say screws, but I want to use sticky tape. I want to buy the smaller plate from fancyplates but I don't want it to fall off :)
Any good ones people have found?
Of eBay or shops?
Ah yeah, thats no too bad.
I will only be using it every now and then for work.
Is there anywhere on the bottom of the seat to attach it? I could always get the missus to 'adjust' it :)
Tempted though as the ones off my Snap On dealer are alright but they are really thin.
Cheers
Could it be the wiring to the pedal sensor. surely there are readings you can check at the pins on the ECU, i'd try this before changing costly parts mate.
Its alright having a plug in tool, but you got to know how to read it, there are so many readings that link to other things if you see what...
Does it just crank over?
Like Ben says, check there is feed to the exciter wire on the starter solenoid, if there is and the engine isn't cranking i'd say there was a fault with the starter motor too!

If its a recall it will be free mate!
And i remember this on the news a while back mate...they did use to do it, and Renault tried to say it was lack of lubricant at sevices but it happened too many times, so they sent out recall notices, i think on alot of cars they renew the whole bonnet...
That I4D is affordable isnt it?
So you need to lube to be able to do it? Sorry im a real beginner!
Lube the paintwork and then clay it?
Simple as that?
