Been into game, switched to the forza day one edition, which apparently is actually a day one solo console with a day one edition of forza bundled, but isn't the single box offering like the fifa one, although the fifa is just a code download anyway.
I believe the solo console is the newer...
lol, that was a good one, talk about getting excited about a new toy!!!!
And it was a simple thing like the autocorrect being s**t that led to its demise.
Although my apple autocorrect seems to go a bit funny every now and again recently, adding random words in that it thinks are needed when...
About 2-4 hrs during the day and then about 4-6 hrs in the evening.
Its pretty much permanently connected to my arm, both for work and home. Rarely use my iPhone for anything other than calls these days and a laptop for downloading.
Tbh, you're lucky you're getting your money back from blockbuster, that'll teach you to preorder from a company that's previously gone into administration, try a proper company like Game! ;)
I'd class myself as a power user, I use my iPad about 8 hrs plus a day, always keep a load of hd video on it and I've never hit my 64 gb limit, so yes, I can't understand how someone would need to have so much storage on a tablet like an iPad.
Ofcourse I could just transfer 64 more gb of tv...
AFAIK, all the consoles on day one are day one editions, anyone who has preordered a non-day one edition as you say won't get fifa, but also won't get it on day one, but before christmas is what they are now saying.
popping into game tomorrow to sort mine out, hoping to swap to the forza edition, not that I'm really bothered about that either, but its better than fifa.
Yeah, the new model that I have has a faster processor, but it's a different architecture, quite annoying.
but I didn't buy the nas to stream anyway, it's mainly a backup device and to free up some space on my mbp which has 20gb free on its 750gb drive, I'm also scared of losing all my photos...
Power line plugs are getting cheaper and cheaper these days, loads on amazon to extend your network over the power lines in your house, just need an Ethernet one at the router end and then a wifi one at the other end.
something like this

I never shut my mbp down, I just close the lid and hibernate it, then every 6 months or so I end up shutting it down and starting it up properly and it's always a little faster etc.
so just wondering if you've done this?
Cheers, I'll check it out.
Was as looking at plex after someone mentioned it, but just my luck, the Synology I have ordered is the only model not supported because of the processor. Although all the new synology boxes coming out are using the same architecture, so hopefully they will add...
It would take a hell of a lot of apps to take up that amount of space though, kids apps are tiny too.
the only reason to need the larger ones is for a lot of photos and tv/film, but there's a limit to how much you would need on it as a tablet.
Id like to see if the people with the 128gb have...
I have a 64gb and it's normally full with tv shows and films! but I can fit 20-30 hd shows on it, so it takes a lot, I can't see why 128gb is needed personally at the moment, the 64gb holds a hell of a lot, and I use it for long trips away and have never run out of stuff to watch.
Well, I got 'the' call from game this morning, asking me to come into store and choose my kit and guarantee a console.
so I questioned this as I was sure I was already guaranteed a console and I am, they just want to get you into store to buy extra stuff. I even confirmed that I actually don't...
For the dlna I was referring to being able to watch the downloaded tv shows on my xbox/playstation on my main tv rather than how I normally watch them, on my mbp, the main issue I have is that my router is in the bedroom and my consoles in the living room. The wall between the two is solid and...
I've just finally gone and bought a NAS, been thinking about it for years, need something raided to protect my photos.
Gone for a synology DS213J and 2x 3TB WD Red NAS drives.
Not sure I'm going to use it to stream using DLNA as i mostly watch my downloaded tv shows on my 17" MBP in bed, but...
my must haves have been put back until the spring :(
watch dogs and that ps4 racing game, can never remember the name.
No doubt i'll get the new COD though.
it impressed you more than GTA V?
I think i might do the same and just get a One, the only PS4 exclusive i wanted at launch was that racing game thats been put back until the spring anyway.
i play my xbox more too, but I'm going to have to buy both again to get all the games i want, which is an arse. But if the multi platform games are going to be better on the PS4 then thats the machine i'll be buying them on, now ps online is paid for too, the gap will be closing with online...
It's funny, because I read that as the ps4 version is better, it's easier to develop for this time around, at this point in time, and in time, possibly years we will or may be able to utilise the xbox resources fully. It's not the developers fault though, it's the consoles, there's always been...
Well maybe you should look a little more carefully next time, I wouldn't normally do this, but payslip proof.........
£559 from apple
ah it's upside down, never mind, turn your monitor around ;)
