i'd put that £900 towards modified inlet,cams etc,i'd rather go sports cat than decat i've seen a 172 with a decat losing power on the rollers due to it although i suppose i'll get told i'm full of sh*t
why do people go on about airfilters so much why not use the money to put towards a worthwhile modification like better brakes,better suspension or modified inlet etc etc etc,and porsannally i prefer the standard engine sound to the row the induction kits make although i have got one

I was on about 10bhp with a the manifold and sports exhaust,even if you can do it by dropping the subframe someone who's not mechanically minded is still gonna have to pay someone to do it for them and modify the exhaust.

It is a better manifold as its a 4-2-1 but its also a lot of work to do as engine out job
the manifold is gonna cost you £250 and i think k-tec are goona charge about £350 to change it then a custom exhaust say £350 =so thats roughly £950 for around 10bhp
